ABOUT ME

I was born in 1943 in Veronica, a small town in

Argentina and obtained my medical degree from

the University of La Plata, following which I

completed a residency in Pathology in Buenos

Aires.I later completed a second residency in

Pathology in Toronto, Canada, and a surgical

fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Following my training I joined MD Anderson as

faculty. I also worked, part time, at Cedars Sinai

Hospital in Los Angeles and at Baylor Hospital in

    Dallas.

In my career, I had the fortune of working with

many amazing colleagues and residents which

have been the most rewarding part of my career

along with some other high points listed below:

  • Slide seminar on Intraoperative Consultation, American Society of Clinical Pathologists

  • Harlan Spjut Award, Houston Society of Clinical Pathologists

  • Keynote address, Texas Society of Pathology

  • Moderator of the Surgical Pathology Conference, United States-Canadian Academy of Pathology

  • President of the International Society of Gynecological Pathologists

  • Being able to listen to and learn from Oscar Croxatto, Felix Rutledge, and Bob Scully.

While I am proud of my accomplishments in the field of           Pathology, I am most proud to be the husband to my

incredible wife, Betty, a father to my loving children and a

    grandfather to my beautiful grandchildren.
